A medium-strength product designed to protect threads from unwanted loosening. Prevents loosening of parts subject to vibration, such as bolts for pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc. The product cures when placed between tightly fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air. Temperature resistant from -54°C to 149°C. Initial hardening occurs after about 20 minutes. Complete in 24 hours. When used on less active metals such as zinc, aluminum, stainless steel, pure aluminum, the curing time may be extended. Recommended for fixing M6-M20 size screws in devices that require periodic disassembly or maintenance. Allows disassembly for repair with hand tools. Tightening torque for M10 screws: 20 Nm.
APPLICATION Bolts for belt tensioners, pulleys, alternators, oil pans and other removable covers and devices.
METHOD OF USE 1. Clean surfaces of oil and other dirt and dry. 2. Shake the bottle vigorously before use. 3. Cut off the tip of the dispenser and apply a small amount of product to the screw thread before assembly. The product works only on metal surfaces. Do not use on plastic parts.
